Dr. Gray and I worked extensively in higher education contexts as program managers, faculty, and in program development and coaching. Often, Dr. Gray and I would co-facilitate and collaborate creatively, which developed into a synergetic relationship in our partnership. Dr. Gray is also a trusted colleague, coach, and resource who I consistently call in when I need to process anything.

In working with Dr. Gray, I experienced growth in several meaningful ways. I developed a greater level of comfort engaging in challenging conversations, both with students and in my personal life. Conversations I may have previously shied away from, I now approach with confidence and openness. My ability to communicate nuanced and complex topics also strengthened. While I previously understood these concepts for myself, Dr. Gray helped me learn how to translate them in ways that are accessible and meaningful for students. That shift has had a lasting impact on how I show up as an educator and facilitator.
